ELA Cougar The new front seat for the Cougar model, with windscreen for the passenger is now available.

New extra - aditional safety belts [2009.07.13]

All new ELA gyroplanes can be delivered with four point harnesses.
The front seat has been reinforced to withstand the loads of 9 Gs for a 90 Kg pilot.

World Aerobatic Championship and aviation festival "The Birdman" [2009.07.05]

The 2nd World Yak-52 Aerobatic Championship 2009 was organized by public institution Žmogus Paukštis (The Birdman).
The contest was held at the Rojūnai Airfield (EYRO) in Lithuania, 16 km South-West from Panevėžys city, 25th June – 5th July.
Ceremony of Awards, aviation festival and airshow attracted to Rojunai airfield many spectators. Demo flight with autogiro ELA 07S was made by the instructor of flight school “The Birdman”.

World record with autogiro ELA Cougar [2009.07.03]

Ispanija-Kanarai Ispanija-Kanarai Ispanija-Kanarai
The last 22on June, Fernando Roselló, one of the most important spanish gyroplane pilots flew 1.311 km over water in 8:07 hours with an ELA 07 Cougar with Rotax 912 ULS engine.
He travels from the Iberian Península to Canary Islands.
He made it with a serial production gyroplane without modifications (just the installation of the 130 liters tank normally used for crop spray).
Currently he has done the longest distance flown in a light gyroplane (1311 km) and the fastest average speed (161km/hr).

Autogyro ELA - for National Police of Spain [2008.11.03]

ELA Policijai The spanish Police continuos with the project of introduce the gyroplanes for special services. Some police officers have been trained to be pilots of those mashines.

First autogyro ELA registered in Kazakhstan [2008.10.18]

ELA 07S The presentation of autogiro ELA 07S was held at the airfield “Baiserke” located in Almata on 18th of October. The public was very interested and had a possibility to participate in test flights with Spanish and Lithuanian pilots. The report about this presentation was published in the television.

Autogyro ELA flight from Spain to Lithuania

Panevezys Spanish pilot Oscar Daniel del Rosario Vega overflew 3000 kilometres with fourteen landings on the way his flight from Spain to Lithuania.
During an impressive air show “The Birdman 2008” In Rojūnai airfield, Oscar Daniel del Rosario Vega demonstrated vast capabilities of this autogiro. After performance spectators had a possibility to fly together with the pilot.
